There’s no getting away from how disastrous this season has been for Liverpool. The Reds have struggled throughout with injuries and a lack of goals leading to a slide down the table. Some decisive changes are expected over the summer. Liverpool have been linked with Jadon Sancho in recent weeks, Emile Heskey told Rousing the Kop he thinks it would be a great signing.
Front three shake up
This season hasn’t been the best for the Reds’ attack.
Jürgen Klopp’s typically lethal front three has been lacklustre to say the least.
Since thrashing Crystal Palace 7-0 in December our front line has been missing chance after chance.
We can point to the injury crisis reducing the number and quality of chances being created for the forwards.

However, injuries can’t explain how wasteful the attack has been with some of these golden chances.
A lack of confidence appears to have infected the attack.
Sadio Mane in particular is missing chances we never would have expected him to miss in the past.
Signing an attacker over the summer appears to be a priority for the club with Jamie Carragher claiming that now is the time to break up the front three.
Liverpool linked with Jadon Sancho
There have been dozens of names suggested as potential solutions to the problem.
Bild in Germany have recently claimed that Liverpool want Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund.
The outlet believes that Jürgen Klopp is a big fan of the player with the BBC reporting that the winger is available for around £87m this summer.
Emile Heskey on Liverpool and Jadon Sancho
We caught up with Anfield icon Emile Heskey to discuss the Reds’ transfer business.
When we asked Emile Heskey whether Liverpool signing Jadon Sancho would be a good move, the ex-England international told Rousing the Kop:
“He would be. Young lad who has been fantastic in the German league. Really come of age and he is a very exciting player. Someone who gets fans off their bums, gets them cheering. He would be a very, very good signing.
“He’s a very, very exciting young player. Very dynamic. He brings you skills and all that excitement which comes with a player of his talent.”
What RTK has to say
Liverpool signing Jadon Sancho would be a dream move.
He has another decade in the tank and he’s only going to get better in this time.
Fingers crossed we manage to pull this one off, he is a generational talent and this could be our last chance to sign him before he is tied down to his next club for the better part of his career.
