Liverpool drew with Leeds United tonight, not that it mattered or anything. We don’t need top four anymore apparently. Yet of course we still tuned in because it’s good to see Jürgen Klopp happy. Here are our Liverpool player ratings v Leeds United:

Alisson Becker – 9
The Brazilian was typically world class and he was unlucky to concede. Stunning performance.
Trent Alexander-Arnold – 8.5
The Scouser was superlative as ever, his intelligence was in full view with his first half assist.
Fabinho – 7.5
The Brazilian made a sloppy error in the first half but apart from that he was solid.
Ozan Kabak – 8.5
The Turkish defender was outstanding tonight both in recovering possession and using the ball, barring a couple of misjudgements he was superb.
Andy Robertson – 7
Robbo was as busy and tireless as ever, up and down the left flank relentlessly. He should’ve picked up an assist before the opposition equaliser.
James Milner – 7
The veteran midfielder was all over the park, keeping the opposition under pressure.
Thiago – 8
The playmaker is just so fun to watch, his vision and technique are mesmerising.
Gini Wijnaldum – 7
The Dutchman put in a performance typical of his game, solid on the ball and determined off it.
Sadio Mane – 7
Finally a goal for the Senegal star.
Diogo Jota – 6.5
The Portugal star should’ve had a goal, he was about enough.
Roberto Firmino – 4
The Brazilian just gets everything wrong at the moment. Everything.
