Attack needs bolstering

The Reds have been lacklustre on the front foot this season with the months since the New Year particularly barren.

The front three aren’t being presented with many chances nor are they creating many for themselves.

The precious few that are being created are often going squandered, leading to a free fall down the table in the first few months of the year.

Greater quality in depth is needed u ptop and as a result the Reds are being linked with plenty of exciting attackers.

Emile Heskey on Liverpool and Raphinha

There are plenty of players being linked with an Anfield switch, it’s hard to determine who could be a realistic target.

Raphinha, Coutinho and Tielemans: The signings Liverpool could make this summer

We asked Emile Heskey whether Liverpool should move for Raphinha (liked with the Reds by JuveLive), the ex-England forward told Rousing the Kop:

“Yeah [I would take him]. The top four would all be looking for someone like him. He’s got that ability, he’s still a young lad.

“To come and do what he’s doing now, it’s phenomenal. Everyone a player with pace and everyone wants a player who can be direct and who knows how to dribble.”

What RTK has to say

Liverpool signing Raphinha would be an exciting move.

As Emile Heskey pointed out, he is a direct player with a keen dribbling ability.

That is the type of player who gets fans on their feet, we need that intensity injected into the side after a lacklustre season.
