This summer Liverpool are going to have to address the lack of goals in the side. The Reds have struggled to find the net in recent months and a new signing is needed to fix the problem. Liverpool should swoop for Andre Silva, his release clause is reportedly around £26m.
Liverpool have struggled in front of goal since the New Year.
The Reds have looked fatigued, stale, even figured out.
Jürgen Klopp has been using the same attacking trio for a few years now and it looks as though the lineup may have run its course.
Teams are sitting deep and narrow, limiting our chances and we don’t have that lethal touch to finish the few chances we get.
A striker arriving in the summer is essential to an improved season next term.
Liverpool should move for Andre Silva
The Reds need something different up top.
Liverpool moving for Andre Silva could provide that something different.
The 25-year-old striker offers more of an aerial threat than the likes of Roberto Firmino and Mo Salah.
He is also a lethal finisher, this season he’s netted 23 goals in 25 league games for Eintracht Frankfurt.
He’s adept at bringing teammates into play though he’d need to improve on his defensive contributions.
According to Patrick Berger (not that Patrik Berger) for Sport 1, Andre Silva has a release clause of just €30m (around £26m).
This would make Andre Silva a sensible signing for Liverpool.
We should be able to make up most of that fee by selling Divock Origi over the summer.
Given his numbers and the fee he’s available at, he should be a serious target.
