Report: Bayern Munich may try to poach Jürgen Klopp from Liverpool

Liverpool is a different club to the one which Jürgen Klopp took over in 2015. Since arriving on Merseyside the German has transformed the club from top to bottom, he’s arguably the greatest manager in our modern history. He’s obviously a man in high demand as a result. 90Min has claimed that Bayern Munich may move for Jürgen Klopp this summer.

Germany job

This summer will see the end of Joachim Low’s reign as Germany boss.

The coach has announced that he will be stepping down from the role after the Euros.

During his 15 year stint at the helm he has won the World Cup and Confederations Cup for Germany.

His departure has triggered a frenzy of reports of a managerial merry go round set to be in operation this summer.

Bayern Munich and Jürgen Klopp

One of the first men touted as a possible replacement for Low was the Liverpool boss.

The gaffer was quick to dismiss the speculation, saying he intends to see out his contract.

Bayern boss Hansi Flick has emerged as the firm favourite for the position.

The coach has enjoyed great success at the Allianz and as such is being seen as the ideal second choice.

90Min has reported that should Flick take the Germany job then Bayern Munich will try to appoint Jürgen Klopp as his replacement.

What RTK has to say

We don’t see it happening.

The national team job is the one the boss wants and he’s already turned that down because he wants to honour his contract.

Why would he then go back on his word to take the Bayern Munich job?
