'My favourite team': Albert Tjaaland wants Liverpool transfer

Liverpool have snapped up some of the most exciting prospects in the game in recent seasons. The Reds academy has been performing well with the added talents. A wonderkid in Scandinavia is apparently angling to make the move, Albert Tjaaland has said Liverpool is his favourite team and he wants to play in the Premier League.

Who is Albert Tjaaland?

Ridiculously, Albert Tjaaland is Erling Haaland’s cousin.

We say ridiculously because, much like his cousin, Albert has a mythical goal scoring record.

The 17-year-old striker allegedly netted 69 goals in 48 for Bryne at youth level before joining the prestigious Molde set up.

In a Q&A he was asked whether he’d like to play in the Premier League and who he’d want to play for.

The teenager responded enthusiastically, ‘of course I want to play in the best league in the world, my favourite team is Liverpool’.

What RTK has to say

What on earth is going on with that family?

How on earth can they have two young strikers with such remarkable goal scoring records.

Should the 17-year-old begin emulating his cousin even further then the Reds will need to have a look at him.

Albert Tjaaland favouring a move to Liverpool could come in handy for us in the years to come.

There could well be some fierce competition for his signature in the future so having the upper hand could prove vital.
