Liverpool have some of the best players in the world in the starting XI. As a result we’re always going to have to deal with interest from other clubs. As speculation intensifies around our Egyptian King, Liverpool reportedly working on giving Mo Salah a new contract could give us a big advantage in any upcoming transfer negotiations.

Mo Salah and Real Madrid
Speculation around Mo Salah’s future has been intensifying this season.
The Egyptian winger has given two interviews to the Spanish press during the campaign which have fuelled rumours of a switch to La Liga.
When asked recently by Marca whether he’d move to Spain he responded, ‘why not?’
In December the forward told AS that Barcelona and Real Madrid are two great clubs and he doesn’t know what the future may hold.
Liverpool to offer Mo Salah new contract
The Reds are set to lose Gini Wijnaldum on a free transfer this summer.
The club won’t want to be caught out in the same manner again.
According to The Times, Liverpool will offer Mo Salah a new contract soon.
The Reds are reportedly working on new deals for the Egyptian along with Fabinho, Alisson and Virgil van Dijk.
Advantage Liverpool
Should Liverpool give Mo Salah a new deal then they will surely have the upper hand if Real Madrid come knocking for the winger.
His current deal runs until 2023 but an extension would only serve to strengthen the Reds’ position in any negotiations with the Spanish giants.
Liverpool will squeeze any potential buyer for every penny, a new deal could be key to that.
