Liverpool are likely to be busy during the summer transfer window. The Reds have been rocked by injuries this season and the fitness blows have exposed a lack of quality in depth. With plenty of upgrades being touted, Liverpool are reportedly still keen on Ousmane Dembele.
Untapped potential
In 2017 Barcelona made waves when they signed a then 20-year-old Ousmane Dembele for £135.5m from Borussia Dortmund.
The French international was seen as the next best thing but he’s so far failed to justify his price tag.
This is in large part down to persistent injury blows which have hampered his Camp Nou career.
He’s finally putting together a run of games now, he’s earned a WhoScored rating of 7.01 in La Liga this term, netting four and assisting two in 14 starts and eight sub appearances.

Liverpool keen on Ousmane Dembele
The Reds have been linked with the winger ever since he was at Dortmund.
Every summer since he’s been touted for a switch from Catalonia to Merseyside.
Mundo Deportivo have claimed that Liverpool remain keen on Ousmane Dembele but face competition from the likes of Manchester United, Juventus and PSG.
Sport claimed last summer that Jürgen Klopp ‘asked’ the board for the winger on loan, later claiming that he’s available for £45m.
What RTK has to say
Liverpool signing Dembele doesn’t seem likely.
He is full of potential still but his injury record is a concern.
If he was available at a bargain fee then it would be a possibility but otherwise it could be an expensive gamble.
