Liverpool are persistently linked with the brightest young stars in the game. One player that Liverpool have been linked with for months now is Ugurcan Cakir. There is supposedly a lot of interested in the young goalkeeper. Liverpool could beat Man City to Cakir by using Ozan Kabak.

Who is Ugurcan Cakir?
24-year-old goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir plies his trade at Trabzonspor.
The Turkey international has made 28 appearances in the league this season, earning a WhoScored rating of 6.9.
He has also impressed for his country, this week keeping Erling Haaland quiet as Turkey beat Norway 3-0.
Liverpool want Ugurcan Cakir
This is a rumour which has been rumbling on for some time.
10 months ago Tuttomercatoweb claimed that Liverpool are interested in Ugurcan Cakir but they face competition from the likes of Man City. The report puts his price tag at around £17m.
This week we’ve seen Turkish outlet Asist Analiz claim that the Reds would be scouting the goalkeeper as Turkey took on Norway.
If Liverpool did indeed have scouts at the game they’ll have been impressed seeing the keeper keep a clean sheet against Erling Haaland.
Ozan Kabak advantage
We aren’t entirely convinced by the rumour.
However, if Liverpool did want Ugurcan Cakir then they could have an advantage in Ozan Kabak.
The two youngsters are international teammates and the defender could well talk the goalkeeper around if he has offers from other top sides.
It can’t be easy leaving Turkey for a top European side, having a familiar face around could be a decisive factor.
