One of our most exciting youngsters could’ve had a very different path; according to a report in the Liverpool ECHO, Mateusz Musialowski almost signed for Arsenal before joining Liverpool.
Who is Mateusz Musialowski?
Liverpool’s U18s side currently boasts one of the most exciting cohorts in years.
One of the stars of the show is Mateusz Musialowski.
The 17-year-old Poland youth international joined the Reds from SMS Lodz last summer.
The tricky winger has already gained admirers in the Reds’ fan base for his frequent stunning solo efforts which see him ghost past opposition before firing past a helpless keeper.

Mateusz Musialowski and Arsenal
The youngster was in high demand before he moved to Merseyside.
SMS Lodz have a reputation for producing top talents and clubs keep an eye on the side as a result.
Poland based Kopite Karolina Kurek recently told the Liverpool ECHO that Mateusz Musialowski could’ve signed for Arsenal:
“There were later many indications that he would go to Arsenal, where he was tested on a few occasions but their academy coaches weren’t sure whether to sign him or not.
“Maybe they were waiting too long because Stellar Group (football agency) stepped in and sent him to Liverpool.”
