Jadon Sancho will be on the transfer market this summer, according to reports. Next month, Liverpool find out if they should be getting involved.
It’s apparently highly-likely that Jadon Sancho is on the transfer market at the end of the season. The BBC claim that, saying Borussia Dortmund must sell and have dropped their asking price accordingly.
It could be as low as £87m for one of the most talented young players in the world.
Sport1 in Germany have said similar. They believe Dortmund bosses assume he’s off, given their financial needs. Those needs only increase now they’re struggling to make the Champions League places.

And if there are any doubts about going for Sancho, Liverpool should get their answer next month.
Dortmund will play two legs against Manchester City next month. We can’t think of a better team to test Sancho’s qualities.
There isn’t really any doubt over his attacking output – he’s truly world-class. Two years ago, Sancho got 12 goals and 14 assists. Last year, he got 17 goals and 16 assists.
And since the start of 2021, Sancho has eight goals and seven assists.
He’s not yet 21.
But City will test him in difference ways. How disciplined can he be against a team like that? How does he play in a game of that magnitude over two legs? What’s his pressing game like in a game where it’s so important?
Just how ready is he to deliver the big trophies?
Sancho has played big games before, of course, but nothing quite like this. Dortmund have fallen in the Last 16 in both of the previous seasons and not to a team as good as City.
And games against Bayern Munich are different. They’re not quite as high-pressure and the familiarity changes things.
This will be a huge test against City that will answer many questions. Because if Sancho comes out of these games looking like a star, we don’t think there’s any question that Liverpool should get involved.
He really could be the long-term answer up top that people are forgetting about.
