Liverpool are stacked with talent in the midfield. The one area of the squad which has, if anything, too many players. The Reds will have some tough decisions to make over the summer as to who stays and who goes, one of the stars has been given a ringing endorsement. Didier Six has compared Naby Keita to Zinedine Zidane.

Naby Keita at Liverpool
When Liverpool agreed to sign Naby Keita fans were excited.
The Guinean midfielder was running riot in the German Bundesliga, surging through the midfield and scoring from any distance.
He looked to be a more nimble reincarnation of Steven Gerrard.
Unfortunately, he’s spent most of his Anfield career on the treatment table.
Invariably, whenever he gets a run of games he is impressive. Injuries just keep halting him in his tracks.
Naby Keita and Zinedine Zidane
The midfielder’s quality has earned him the captaincy of his country.
He is clearly highly thought of back home.
Guinea coach Didier Six has compared Naby Keita to Zinedine Zidane, telling FIFA:
“In my opinion, Keita has magical feet, and I decided to give him the captaincy because he’s a true leader. He’s never abrasive with his team-mates.
“The way he talks to them is very similar to the way Zidane deals with his players, and he communicates the message in a wonderful way.”
What RTK has to say
Comparing Naby Keita to Zinedine Zidane is high praise indeed.
The Guinean will be pleased even though the comparison isn’t related to their playing style.
We couldn’t half do with a Zidane in the middle at the moment given the lack of creativity in our midfield at times.
