Liverpool are going to have to bring in some exciting players over the summer. This season has been a disappointment, we need to be more dangerous next time out. The first step to retaking the Premier League crown will be strengthening the depth of the first team. Liverpool should swoop for Matheus Cunha if Hertha Berlin are relegated.
Depth needs overhaul
This season has exposed just how weak the depth is in the first team.
We’ve been let down by the backup brigade and just how thin the squad is in general.
Jürgen Klopp will be keen to address these weaknesses over the summer.
We need to be able to rotate without a huge drop off in quality, Man City’s depth has seen them waltz to the title.

Liverpool should move for Matheus Cunha
The Reds need to bring in a number of players to cover a number of positions.
Liverpool moving for Matheus Cunha would make sense in that he’s played just about everywhere for Hertha Berlin this season.
The 21-year-old Brazilian has popped up in six positions for the German side this term according to WhoScored.
Despite his side lying in the relegation zone the youngster boasts a 7.3 rating, indicating that he’s somewhat carrying his side.
Predominantly a left winger, the Brazilian has six goals and three assists this season.
Liverpool could bag a bargain with Matheus Cunha.
If Hertha don’t turn things around and they end up relegated then the 21-year-old could be available at a snip.
He has plenty of time to grow as a footballer and he can play in several positions; he’s an ideal FSG signing.
We should be keeping a close eye on him ahead of the summer, he’ll have plenty of suitors should Hertha go down.
