Liverpool sign Harvey Elliott
The Reds brought Harvey Elliott to the club in the summer of 2019.
Shortly after winning the club’s sixth European cup many believed the Reds would go out and spend heavily on first team stars.
Instead, the only two outfield players to arrive were academy prospects: Harvey Elliott and Sepp van den Berg.
The former arrived from Fulham as a record breaker for his youthful appearances.

Blackburn Rovers loan
This season has seen Harvey Elliott on loan at Blackburn Rovers.
The decision to ship him out to the Championship was a last minute one triggered by an early exit from the EFL Cup and the lack of an exit for Xherdan Shaqiri.
The youngster has enjoyed his time in the second tier, consistently impressing.
He has been one of the Rovers best players this season, bagging five goals and nine assists for the Tony Mowbray’s side.
Harvey Elliott Premier League loan
The kid needs a step up next season.
He isn’t quite good enough for the Reds’ first team but he is too good to be in the Championship, he needs better players around him.
We should send Harvey Elliott on loan to a Premier League club next season.
He needs experience at the highest level and if we can guarantee regular first team appearances for him then it would be a no brainer. To send him back to the Championship would be to do him a disservice.
