Liverpool have plenty of exciting talents in the youth teams at the moment. The Reds have been scooping up some of the brightest teenagers across the planet to improve the quality of the academy. The strategy is certainly paying off. Some Liverpool fans have been drooling over the Mateusz Musialowski goal against Newcastle U18s.
Liverpool academy prospects
There are so many players in the academy to be excited about.
Melkamu Frauendorf, signed from Hoffenheim over the summer, has been impressing as a creative midfielder.
Kaide Gordon – well endorsed by Wayne Rooney – has also been a leading light since joining in January.
One of our most exciting talents in the fleet footed Mateusz Musialowski who joined Liverpool from Polish side SMS Lodz over the summer.
Mateusz Musialowski v Newcastle U18s
Last weekend the U18s were once again in fine form.
Marc Bridge-Wilkinson’s side eased past Newcastle U18s in a 3-0 victory.
Mateusz Musialowski netted a wonder goal against Newcastle at the weekend.
The Polish forward picked the ball up near the halfway line and ghosted past a number of opposition players before emphatically firing past the goalkeeper.
It was a stunning solo effort from the youngster, one which we hope to see more of in the future.
The scoring was rounded off by Dominic Corness and Max Woltman, both assisted by James Balagizi – fans can be encouraged by Balagizi’s strong return to action following a lengthy injury lay off.
