Exclusive: Emile Heskey believes Liverpool would suit Adama Traore

Liverpool are going to be in the market for some reinforcements over the summer. The Reds have no choice but to strengthen after a poor season in which the thinness of the squad has been sorely exposed. Liverpool have been repeatedly linked with Adama Traore; Emile Heskey has told Rousing the Kop he’d be a perfect fit.

Liverpool linked with Adama Traore

There are a few players who are constantly linked with a move to a bigger club.

Given Wolves’ rapid winger’s huge potential he is one such player.

Last month Sport in Spain linked Liverpool with a move for Traore, suggesting a £36m fee.

No such move materialised but given that this wasn’t the first time the two names have been associated we don’t believe any potential interest will have dissipated.

This week the wide man was in electric form against the Reds, though his side were unable to finish any chances he created.

The Reds edged a win at Molineux this week but the result could have been different had the hosts been more clinical.

In an exclusive interview with Rousing the Kop we asked Emile Heskey whether Liverpool and Adama Traore would be a good match. The ex-England forward told us the winger would suit the Reds, saying:

“I think he suits a lot of teams but 100% Liverpool. If you look at last season the way Liverpool played a lot of the goals they scored, a lot of them were fast counter attacks.

“He definitely comes into that bracket, again there’s no reason why you can’t have competition in several positions.”

What RTK has to say

Liverpool and Adama Traore are the perfect match.

The Spaniard has all of the physical attributes to play for Jürgen Klopp and the coach has it in him to get the best out of the player.

The winger has been threatening greatness for some time now and we’re yet to see the best of him, a move to Anfield could be just what he needs.
