Liverpool are sure to do plenty of business over the summer. The Reds have been disappointing this season, though a lot of their problems can be attributed to plain bad luck. An overhaul is expected at the end of the campaign. The Sunday World has named four players Liverpool are willing to sell in the coming transfer window.
Liverpool injury woes
This season has been characterised by injuries.
The Reds have lost scores of stars to the treatment table, leading to the walking wounded being dragged this way and that to cover in the worst hit positions.
It’s felt as though the squad have been dropping like flies at times and this is something which will surely need addressing in the summer.
We need to make a move towards a more reliable squad, one which won’t be so ravaged by availability issues.
Liverpool willing to sell four
If we’re going to do better next season we need to move on our most unreliable players and upgrade our backup stars.
According to the Sunday World, Liverpool are willing to sell at least four players.
Kevin Palmer has claimed the club will listen to offers for Joel Matip, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Divock Origi and Xherdan Shaqiri.
Obviously Matip and the Ox have struggled with injuries whilst the latter two haven’t offered enough when they’ve been given their chances.
What RTK has to say
Hopefully Liverpool could raise a tidy sum if they sell the aforementioned quartet.
Joel Matip should fetch a tidy sum, his quality is obvious and there for all to see.
We just can’t keep coping with him being perpetually injured, it’s no use having one of the world’s best if he can never play.
