Liverpool are expected to have a big summer transfer window. The Reds are in dire need of reinforcements throughout the side after a string of injuries exposed a lack of depth in the squad. We expect the club to bring in another centre back despite signing two defenders in the winter window. According to the Sunday World, Liverpool are keen on Ibrahima Konate.
Liverpool’s season got off to a disastrous start when Jürgen Klopp lost Virgil van Dijk for the season in October.
Joe Gomez was just weeks behind, his campaign ending during England training.
Joel Matip did his best but he too was ruled out in January.
Ozan Kabak and Ben Davies were brought in in the winter window but whether or not the duo are the long term solution remains to be seen.

Liverpool chasing Ibrahima Konate
This summer should tell us more about the Reds’ defensive lineup next term.
According to the Sunday World, Liverpool want Ibrahima Konate from RB Leipzig.
The 21-year-old centre back is said to be one of the best young defenders in the world and would reportedly relish playing for the Reds.
The Sunday World have claimed the deal would be worth around £34m.
What RTK has to say
Liverpool signing Ibrahima Konate would be a masterstroke.
We let Bayern Munich take his more expensive and seemingly more error prone partner in Dayot Upamecano.
Given Konate’s age he is only going to get better so we imagine the club could make a sizeable profit in the future.
Hopefully we do see further additions to the back line, Konate could be the ideal addition to make.
