Sasa Kalajdzic admits he’s a big Liverpool fan. The 23-year-old is flying in the Bundesliga this season.
Sasa Kalajdzic is having a fantastic campaign for Stuttgart. He currently sits 6th in the race for the Bundesliga Golden Boot but then, he hasn’t been a regular starter.
Kalajdzic has started 13 games this season but been a sub in 10. Despite that, he has 12 goals. His goals per 90 ratio of 0.85 is soo good, in fact, that only Robert Lewandowski, Erling Haaland and Andre Silva can top it.
He’s been on fire over his last six games, too, scoring seven goals.
All of this at 23 and in his first senior season with Stuttgart. The Austrian looks like a player.

And he’s one that may interest Liverpool. The Reds certainly interest him – he is a long-time fan.
“I feel completely at home at [Stuttgart], but it would be a really tough decision [to join Liverpool] because I really like Liverpool,” he told Bild.
“This club is simply special to me. When I was a kid, I saw the Champions League final in 2005 when Liverpool came back from 3-0 down against Milan to win. That gripped me.
“The last time I went to a Liverpool game with my brother, I really kitted myself out: I bought myself a scarf, jersey, cap and a mug.”
What RTK has to say
Usually with stories like these, the player in question is a kid with little to no chance of ever joining Liverpool. But this one is different.
Kalajdzic is really make a name for himself and should the Reds want him, it sounds like he’s theirs. Certainly, they hold a major advantage in any race.
Definitely, one to keep an eye on, then. If Kalajdzic keeps developing, the inevitable links will follow.
And Liverpool may just fancy taking advantage of his support to make something happen.
