Phenomenal Reds progress: Liverpool player ratings v RB Leipzig

Liverpool convincingly beat RB Leipzig tonight to secure their place in the quarter finals of the Champions League. The Reds were irresistible at times, they could’ve put the game to bed in the first half but they decided to long it out for us. Here are our Liverpool player ratings v RB Leipzig:

Alisson Becker9

The Brazilian was reliable as ever, just so composed. He makes hard saves look easy.

Trent Alexander-Arnold9

The Scouser in our team was excellent with his passing, he should’ve hit it first time in the first half.

Nat Phillips100

Nat Phillips eh, the Bolton Baresi. Virgil van Dijk would’ve been proud of that performance. Utterly flawless lad. Wow.

Ozan Kabak9

The February signing was composed on the ball and didn’t really put a foot wrong in general.

Andy Robertson8

Andy Robbo was energetic and determined as ever.

Fabinho10

The Brazilian being back in the midfield makes the world of difference. He is a magnet.

Thiago10

What a joy this man is to watch. What a footballer. World class, mesmeric.

Gini Wijnaldum8

The Dutchman is one of the most determined footballers out there, everywhere on the pitch.

Sadio Mane8.5

The Senegal forward was wasteful at times but he grabbed his goal in the end. Hopefully the first of many.

Diogo Jota8

It is so good to have Jota back, he is so lively, so inventive. He was unlucky not to score tonight.

Mo Salah9

The Egyptian King put in a typical performance of his, wasting chances but also making something out of nothing. He was immense.
