Liverpool have had a tough season. The Reds have been utterly devastated by injuries and this has led to a slide down the table. Fans are just waiting for this campaign to be over – we’ll get them next time, as long as we invest. Some Liverpool fans are disappointed that FSG have ruled out a squad overhaul.
Poor Liverpool performance
Since Christmas the Reds have been in diabolical form.
Jürgen Klopp’s side have been struggling for consistency after once again being top on the 25th of December.
When the injury crisis began back in autumn we thought the wheels would come off, they did in the end.
Players being pulled this way and that to paper cracks in the squad has led to disjointed and frankly clueless performances.
We feel like we’ve seen the Reds lose the same game half a dozen times in a row.
The only solution is a sweeping upgrade of the playing staff, getting rid of deadwood and bringing in better and more reliable quality for the bench.
Liverpool and FSG update
The Reds poor form has been dramatic.
Any other manager would be under severe pressure but the boss has been a helpless bystander during all of this; he didn’t injure those players.
The Times have reported that Liverpool and FSG have the utmost faith in Jürgen Klopp.
The outlet has stated that FSG believe the gaffer will turn things around next season when key stars are fit again.
The report also points out that the owners don’t believe a squad overhaul is necessary.

But a lot of fans are frankly worried about FSG not wanting a sweeping overhaul.
