Liverpool are ‘on alert’ over Christian Pulisic, according to reports. They’re not the only ones as the American sits on the sidelines.
This comes from the Daily Mail. They claim that Liverpool are one of a few clubs looking at Pulisic.
The American isn’t getting in the Chelsea team right now. That has the Reds, Manchester United and Bayern Munich ‘on alert’.
They suspects there might be an opportunity to sign the player, should Chelsea decide he’s not for them. Pulisic still holds incredible value, after all, and the Blues may not want that sitting on their bench.
As the report states, Chelsea paid £58m to sign him from Borussia Dortmund. They say Pulisic may not want to wait around to prove his value again, though, and that could lead to a summer exit.

What RTK has to say
It would cost an absolute fortunate to sign Pulisic. We don’t see any way Chelsea sell him for under £58m. We find it hard to believe they wouldn’t want a big profit, in fact.
We also doubt they’d sell to Liverpool, even if the Reds offered that fortune. It feels like a non-starter for both them and United.
Bayern could perhaps tempt Chelsea but even then, are they going to offer £50m+ for Pulisic? That feels unlikely.
Perhaps we’re wrong and Chelsea are open to it all. And in that case, we would like to see Liverpool try and make it happen.
Pulisic is a player who suits Jurgen Klopp’s style and could slot right in on the wing. They worked together at Dortmund, with the German labelling him ‘fantastic’.
Not to mention that he’s still just 22 – there’s a lot of room for growth, there.
Liverpool have excelled at developing players over the last few years and we imagine they could work wonders with Pulisic.
So while we don’t find it likely, it’s surely worth an enquiry.
