Liverpool have suffered an unprecedented injury crisis this season.
The Reds have been rocked by a string of blows which have seen every senior pro centre back in the side ruled out until next season.
Midfielders and U23s stars have been used to plug the gaps.
There’s also been the arrivals of Ozan Kabak and Ben Davies, though the former has been disappointing and both have suffered injury setbacks since joining the side.
A summer signing could prove vital, we need reliability and quality at the back – we can’t have a repeat of this season.
Liverpool want Nikola Milenkovic
The Reds are apparently not settled on the current roster.
According to reports in Italy, Liverpool want Nikola Milenkovic from Fiorentina.
The 23-year-old, standing at 6ft 5in tall, is allegedly also wanted by Man United, Spurs and AC Milan.
His contract expires in 2022 and he is reportedly not close to signing an extension.
CalcioMercato have claimed that Liverpool have contacted the entourage of Milenkovic.

Liverpool moving for Milenkovic would surely mean not redeeming the option to buy Ozan Kabak.
The Reds are unlikely to sign both players on a permanent deal this summer.
Given the Fiorentina star’s contract situation we could well land him for a cut price fee.
