Liverpool are in their worst run of form we’ve seen this century. The Reds have been utterly woeful since Christmas. When the injury crisis began in autumn we all expected the wheels to come off eventually and they finally have in emphatic fashion. According to James Pearce, FSG and Liverpool have no plans to sack Jürgen Klopp.
Woeful Liverpool form
This season has seen the very worst of the Reds.
Jürgen Klopp’s side started their title defence brightly with wins over Chelsea and Arsenal.
Then the injury crisis hit and they still managed to battle to top of the table at Christmas.
Since then fatigue has taken over and the Reds have been struggling to say the least.

We recently saw the side’s sixth straight defeat at home, the latest humiliation coming at the hands of Fulham.
It has been a truly torrid run, one defined by a lack of energy and ideas.
In truth we’ve seen the lads lose the same game over and over again, nothing changes.
FSG and Liverpool stance on sacking Klopp
Any team going through this run of form would see their manager questioned.
If this were any other team there’d be fans and pundits calling for the manager to be sacked.
Thankfully, everyone is being rational about the situation.
James Pearce has reported for The Athletic that FSG and Liverpool have no plans to sack Jürgen Klopp.
The journalist has said that there’s ‘no doubt’ that the owners will stand by the man who delivered the club a sixth European Cup and a first league title in 30 years.
What RTK has to say
FSG and Liverpool were never going to sack Jürgen Klopp.
They just won’t.
This is not on the manager, well at least not all of it.
The injury crisis is unprecedented, no Premier League manager has ever had to deal with a crisis so severe.
We are watching a team fall apart with no fans in the ground, no rest over the summer and no consistent team sheet.
Next season will be different. If it isn’t, then we can start asking questions.
