Liverpool need to shake up their front three this summer. The Reds have been limp in front of goal in recent months, leading fans and pundits to conclude that it is time for a change. Just who leaves and who goes will surely become clearer in the coming months; some Liverpool fans have been buzzing with links to Donyell Malen.

Goal shy Liverpool
The Reds have been in torrid form since Christmas.
In December we thrashed Crystal Palace 7-0 and since then the side haven’t been able to hit a barn door.
The Reds haven’t been creating too many clear cut chances either.
Sure, teams are sitting deep and defending with two rigid banks of four but we still should be creating at least a few chances per game.
Injuries at the back have led to disjointed and inconsistent team sheets, denying the lads any sight of rhythm.
This is being reflected in limp build up play which lacks intensity and cutting edge.
Liverpool linked with Donyell Malen
There are plenty of players who could come in to freshen up the attack.
Whilst Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland are the two dream targets there are others out there who better fit FSG’s recruitment policy.
CalcioMercato last week claimed Liverpool are interested in Donyell Malen of PSV.
The 22-year-old striker is allegedly also wanted by AC Milan, he joined PSV from the Arsenal academy in 2017.
This term the forward has 14 goals in the Eredivisie, along with six assists.

It’s safe to say plenty of fans are buzzing with the report.
Even if they only know him from his unplayable FIFA card.
Whilst some believe there’s better options in the Eredivisie.
