Kylian Mbappe has demands that would affect Sadio Mane, according to reports. The French superstar may be up for grabs.
This comes from AS. They claim that Kylian Mbappe wants to play as a left-winger going forward.
He’s made this clear to Mauricio Pochettino at Paris Saint-Germain and it will remain true if he leaves France. Mbappe will only move to a club that gives him their left-wing spot.
Now, AS presents this from the Real Madrid perspective. Mbappe would almost certainly mean the end of Eden Hazard as a first-team player there, if they gave into this demand.
Will that force them to pause for thought? Perhaps a little. Hazard was a huge signing for them and they may not want to give up on him.

Then again, he hasn’t been a good signing. Real may see him as a small sacrifice to sign Mbappe.
Liverpool reportedly want Mbappe, too, per Le Parisien. However, for them, the decision is harder to make.
Sadio Mane is Liverpool’s left-winger and has been for years. He is, unquestionably, one of their greatest ever left-wingers – perhaps only John Barnes tops him.
He’s also still absolutely fantastic, even if he’s not having his best season. Mane, in truth, isn’t the one Liverpool would want to replace.
Roberto Firmino likely is. He’s older than both Mane and Mohamed Salah. He’s also playing far worse than either and appears to be in decline.
But to replace Firmino with Mbappe isn’t straightforward. It would be if the latter played centre-forward but that apparently isn’t the case.
Liverpool would have to either sign a second player to replace the Brazilian, keep him in, or shift things around.
The latter is possible. Mane could move to the right and Salah could play down the middle, with Mbappe left. But it’s not a match made in heaven.
Mbappe and Salah would both attack similar space. While it could work, it likely wouldn’t be a smooth partnership. And Liverpool thrive on everything clicking together smoothly.
Their best shot, then, would involve ditching Mane for Mbappe. That’s an enormous decision and one we’re not sure is clear-cut. There are certainly arguments either way.
What is clear is that signing Mbappe would require huge decisions. Both financially and with who to sacrifice.
