Liverpool are sure to have a big summer transfer window. The Reds have been incredibly unlucky with injuries this season and the lack of depth in the squad has been thoroughly exposed. We expect some big changes. One potential buy is already at the club. Liverpool should sign Ozan Kabak in the summer even if they don’t want him next season.
Liverpool need to recruit
This season has seen a string of unfortunate injuries in the Liverpool squad.
The entire centre back roster was ruled out for the season before two deadline day signings in February.
The injuries have exposed a serious lack of quality in depth in areas of the squad.
A big summer rebuild is in order as the boss looks to assemble his second squad, the current one seems far too thin.

Liverpool should buy Ozan Kabak
On deadline day Liverpool loaned Ozan Kabak from Schalke.
The 20-year-old Turkish defender had been on the club’s radar for some time.
As part of the deal Liverpool can sign Ozan Kabak permanently in the summer for an £18m fee.
The Reds should activate this option whether they want him next season or not.
The £18m fee negotiated for him was an absolute steal given his potential and how highly Schalke valued him at the start of the season.
We managed to negotiate such a competitive fee because the German side are preparing for relegation and need the cash.
Should the Reds not have Kabak in their plans then they could buy him and sell him in the same window.
We can rely on Michael Edwards to net a tidy profit on that £18m, otherwise we could use Kabak in part exchange towards a preferred target.
Of course, this all depends on the club deciding that Kabak isn’t the one for them, he could well be the long term option.
