Liverpool have been goal-shy in recent weeks and months. The Reds attacking momentum has been halted by injuries to just about everyone behind the forward line. Many Kopites are already looking ahead to next season, things will be different then – we’ll have brought in reinforcements and players will be back from injury. One position in particular could do with strengthening; some Kopites have been buzzing about Liverpool links to Youssef En-Nesyri.
The Reds last game saw them lose their fourth match in a row at Anfield.
In these four games Jürgen Klopp’s side scored just once, a penalty against Manchester City.
There have been some chances but more often than not these half chances which on other days would be buried have instead been sent into the stands.
Roberto Firmino has been particularly wasteful, we saw this frequently against Everton.

Liverpool target Youssef En-Nesyri
The Reds have been linked with dozens of strikers in recent weeks and months.
Given the struggle for goals it is only natural that fans and pundits are pointing towards the need for a traditional number 9.
According to 90Min, Liverpool are tracking Youssef En-Nesyri from Sevilla.
The 23-year-old striker has previously been targeted by West Ham, the Daily Star reporting that the Hammers had a £27m bid rejected.
Interest in the forward makes sense given his impressive 13 goals in 17 starts this season.
However, there is also the consideration that the Reds should be aiming higher, setting their sights on a more established, marquee signing.
