Liverpool finally acted in the transfer market. After weeks and months of telling us they didn’t have the money and they wanted to wait until the summer they finally came through and brought in some defensive reinforcements. Juventus star Weston McKennie has sent Ozan Kabak an Instagram message ahead of his switch to Liverpool.

Joel Matip held out – to an extent. The Cameroonian was in and out of the side for the past few months but a recent ankle ligament problem has seen him ruled out for the remainder of the campaign.
Ozan Kabak joins on loan
Deadline day saw a flurry of activity from the Reds.
Ben Davies was signed for £2m from Preston North End.
Ozan Kabak was brought in on loan from Schalke. The Reds have the option of buying the Turkish defender for £18m at the end of the season.
The 20-year-old has been on the club’s radar for some time with links first emerging last year.

Ahead of his switch from Schalke, Kabak posted a farewell message on Instagram.
The defender spoke of his utmost respect for the Bundesliga side and their fans.

Hopefully the Turkish defender picks up the lingo swiftly.
