Liverpool are in dire need of a defender. The Reds have been devastated by injuries this season and as we head into the second half of the campaign we are without a centre back. Something has to be done before the deadline. Twitter has reacted to the Liverpool ECHO’s hint that Liverpool could sign Romain Saiss.

When the Reds sold Dejan Lovren without replacing him we were all a bit worried.
But hey – trust the process. They don’t get much wrong in that dugout.
It turns out they got this one very wrong. Very wrong indeed.
Fabinho was meant to be a break glass in case of emergency option but by November he was a mainstay at the back with Joe Gomez and Virgil van Dijk ruled out for the season.
This week saw Fabby and Joel Matip sidelined, leaving the Reds without a senior centre back in the first team.
We need a defender before the 11pm deadline on Monday.
Liverpool and Romain Saiss
There have been dozens of names thrown about as potential buys.
This weekend the Liverpool ECHO hinted that Liverpool could be in for Romain Saiss.
The outlet pointed out that the centre back was mysteriously absent from the Wolves squad list this weekend.
A connection was made to when Diogo Jota was also left out ahead of his move to Liverpool.
The 30-year-old Moroccan’s contract expires at the end of the season.
