This week Spurs host Liverpool in a game which could prove pivotal to the title race, maybe even the race for the top four. The Reds have been in dire form in recent weeks and need a win to turn things around. Speaking ahead of the game, Jose Mourinho says Spurs have ‘more problems’ for the Liverpool tie.
Liverpool take on Spurs
Jose Mourinho and Spurs can leapfrog Liverpool with a win this week.
The North London side are just behind the Reds in sixth place.
Liverpool have been on a disastrous run and are without a win in five games.
The last game the Reds won was in London, a 7-0 thrashing of Crystal Palace.

Jürgen Klopp has since lost to Burnley and Southampton. There have also been draws with Newcastle, Manchester United and West Brom.
Spurs problems ahead of Liverpool
This week there were reports that Ben Davies could be a doubt for the visit from Liverpool.
The Welshman substituted late on in the FA Cup.
Speaking at a pre-match press conference Jose Mourinho said Spurs have more worried ahead of the Liverpool game.
When asked if Ben Davies and Matt Doherty are unavailable, the coach answered:
“Yeah, and we have more problems that I’m not going to share. You’ll have to wait until tomorrow but we have a little bit more problems than that.”
What RTK has to say
I wonder what this could mean.
Knowing Jose Mourinho it likely means nothing, he always has been one for mind games.
The Portuguese coach has been around the block enough times to know how to wind someone up ahead of a game.
Ben Davies’ absence will be a blow for his side though. The Welshman was trusted over Sergio Reguilon for the Anfield leg in December.
The Reds may well look to fly down Reguilon’s flank should he start, he is fantastic going forward but could be exposed defensively.
