Liverpool beat Spurs tonight in impressive manner. The Reds were utterly brilliant in North London. After a barren run of results we finally turned it around. One of the hosts’ midfielders was particularly impressive despite his side’s loss. Some Liverpool fans have urged the club to sign Tanguy Ndombele.
Spurs 1-3 Liverpool
Wow. We needed that.
Jürgen Klopp’s side headed to North London without a win in their last five Premier League games.
The match got off to a ropey start when Son Heung Min put the hosts ahead after two minutes only to see the goal chalked off for offside.
Eventually the Reds broke through with a goal from Roberto Firmino.

The second half saw Trent Alexander-Arnold double the lead early on.
Pierre-Emile Hojberg made it 2-1 just a couple of minutes later with a screamer.
Sadio Mane killed the game shortly after the hour mark.
Liverpool face impressive Tanguy Ndombele
Back in 2019 French outlet Euro United linked Liverpool with a move for Tanguy Ndombele.
They weren’t the only outlet to do so, the Reds were persistently linked with him before his £63m move to Spurs.
He has begun to flourish for the North London side in recent weeks.
Despite a 3-1 loss for his side he was incredibly impressive tonight.
The Frenchman was frequently dancing through the midfield, a performance full of clever turns and shows of strength.
His certainly pulled his weight in the middle and he would be justifiably annoyed about the mistakes at the back which cost his side the game.
Twitter on Ndombele
Some Liverpool fans would love to see Tanguy Ndombele at Anfield.
Others found him impressive.
Whilst some believe Naby Keita can do his job when he’s fit.
