Liverpool forward Diogo Jota could be back in action in early February, according to reports.
This comes from The ECHO. They believe that the Portuguese international could soon be made available to Jurgen Klopp following a knee injury sustained in December.
Jota, 24, was scheduled to be back in late January, as reported by The Athletic recently.
However, the £45 million signing from Wolves will now be out for longer than expected.
Jota’s absence has been a considerable detriment to Liverpool in recent weeks, with the Reds currently winless in their previous five league matches.
There is no doubt that Klopp would benefit from the return of Jota as soon as possible with the Reds far from their flowing best in attack.

Jota has missed 10 matches for Liverpool since his setback on December 9. And as a result of his absence, the Reds have drawn blanks in their previous four league matches.
There is every belief that had Jota been available in those four fixtures, then the Reds may have been able to find a way past recent opponents Newcastle, Southampton, Manchester United and Burnley.
The former Atletico Madrid starlet made a roaring start to life on Merseyside, but he has been out for weeks.
Luckily, his return date isn’t too far in sight. With Liverpool due to play Manchester City on February 7, it will be interesting to see if Jota will be fit in-time for a gargantuan Premier League encounter at Anfield.
