Liverpool were phenomenal at Spurs tonight. The Reds were back to winning ways with a 3-1 victory over Jose Mourinho’s side. The result ended a barren run and it did so in style. To a man they were excellent. Long live Jürgen’s Tricky Reds. Here are our Liverpool player ratings v Spurs:

Alisson Becker – 9
The Brazilian had another exceptional game. Even though he got away with one early on.
Trent Alexander-Arnold – 10
The Scouser had an unreal game. What a footballer he is. Back to his best with a goal and an assist and some phenomenal passing.
Jordan Henderson – 9
The skipper had a solid game at the back, he didn’t look out of place.
Joel Matip – 8
The Cameroonian’s return to the lineup was short lived as he went off at halftime.
Andy Robertson – 8
Andy Robbo, published author, is a dynamo, always up and down the field.
Thiago – 9
The Spaniard is a special footballer, he is an utter joy to watch. Had it not been for a handball he would’ve played a key part in what would’ve been our third goal.
Gini Wijnaldum– 9
The Dutchman was everywhere. It is incredible how hard it is to tackle him. What a footballer.
James Milner – 9
The veteran midfielder was disciplined and tireless as ever, he just won’t ever quit will he? Stay forever Jimmy.
Mo Salah – 8.5
Mo was excellent going forward. If only his back heel to Curtis Jones had come off eh.
Sadio Mane – 9
Sadio just never stops trying. He was utterly excellent tonight and he deserved his goal.
Roberto Firmino – 9
The Brazilian was phenomenal tonight, showing just what he brings to the side. Inventive and clinical tonight.
