Frank Lampard was thought to be the driving force behind Stamford Bridge interest in Rice.
Now that the ex-England international has been replaced by Thomas Tuchel, the Hammers believe they don’t have to worry about any Chelsea approaches.
The report claims that Liverpool are still potential buyers for Declan Rice with West Ham thought to value him at around £80m.
