Liverpool have been in torrid form of late. The Reds have failed to win any of their last five Premier League games and have slid down the table as a result. Kopites are desperate for a turnaround. A trip to Spurs could be a turning point. Jose Mourinho has said he is worried about the fitness of Ben Davies ahead of the Liverpool tie.
Liverpool take on Spurs
The Reds haven’t won in their last five Premier League games.
The Reds have scored just once since their 7-0 thrashing of Crystal Palace on the 19th of December.
We’ve seen bore draws with Manchester United and Newcastle United as well as defeats to Burnley and Southampton.
This run of form was unimaginable in the summer but predictable from the point that Virgil van Dijk and Joe Gomez dropped out of the side with knee injuries in the Autumn.

The Reds beat Spurs in dramatic fashion before Christmas, they head to North London this week hoping to repeat the trick.
Jose Mourinho’s side can leapfrog the Reds with a win.
Jose Mourinho on Ben Davies fitness
This week Spurs took on Wycombe in the FA Cup.
The North London side went behind early on but turned things around to win 4-1.
Jose Mourinho brought Ben Davies off in injury time and after the game expressed his concerns over the Welsh international, Football.London quote the boss as saying:
“I didn’t see huge fatigue. Ben Davies was just a bad feeling, I hope it is not anything on his calf, so hopefully we managed to play and not have big injuries or fatigue and not to have extra time.”
What RTK has to say
Jose Mourinho started Ben Davies against the Reds in December.
The Welshman is seen as more solid defensively than Sergio Reguilon.
Should Davies not pass fit for Thursday then the Reds could look to exploit the left side of the Spurs defence.
Whilst Reguilon is a fantastic footballer going forward he may not be able to contain Mo Salah.
