Arsenal forward Folarin Balogun is looking through at least 15 offers from clubs, according to reports. Liverpool have little chance in this race.
This comes from Fabrizio Romano. He claims that over 15 clubs have approached Folarin Balogun over a free transfer.
The 19-year-old Arsenal forward is out of contract in the summer, meaning non-domestic clubs can negotiate with him already.
Balogun struggles for first-team football with the Gunners but remains highly-rated. Highly-rated enough to receive a mountain of offers from abroad, it seems.
One club who won’t have an offer in is Liverpool. The Athletic reported recently that the Reds liked the player.

As a fellow English club, though, Liverpool can’t formally offer Balogun anything yet. They’d have to wait until after the season.
What RTK has to say
And from that position, you have to imagine Liverpool have very little chance of getting this one done. Balogun has his pick around Europe and he’ll surely find a deal he likes.
If first-team football is his big issue, Liverpool perhaps wasn’t the place for him anyway.
Which is a shame – we’ll always want Liverpool to sign exciting young talents. And if they’re from Premier League rivals? Even better.
That Athletic report did state that Balogun preferred a move to Germany, though. So in that sense, Liverpool were always huge outsiders for this one.
They’d have to hope that Balogun was willing to turn down pre-contract agreements all the way through May, just so they can formally get an offer on the table.
It was always unlikely, especially when he’s a talent who can command over 15 offers within a month.
We’ll have to rule this one out, then. Will it hurt Liverpool going forward? Of course not. But as we say, it would have been nice to add another promising teenager to the growing collection on Merseyside.
