Fabinho has his own perspective on the Liverpool future of Mohamed Salah. The Egyptian introduced some doubt in recent weeks.
Mohamed Salah gave an interview with AS last month where he declared that his future was in Liverpool’s hands. He openly talked about Real Madrid and Barcelona as top clubs, too.
Now, really, he never said anything bad. The interview came out of nowhere and that surprise seemed to exaggerate the quotes.
So on the face of it, there wasn’t anything to worry about. But that didn’t stop some.
Soon after, a former international teammate declared that the Liverpool man was unhappy. Mohamed Aboutrika openly said that Salah could leave in an interview with beIN sports.

From there, we had TalkSport claiming that Real Madrid want Salah.
But what about a current teammate? Fabinho has given his own perspective on Salah and his Liverpool future.
“Big players will always have their names involved in rumours,” said Fabinho, per Sky Sports. “Salah plays for Liverpool, one of the biggest teams in the world.
“So I think it’s normal to see his name linked to other teams, especially from different leagues.
“Anyway, I see him very happy here and pleased with his performances this season. He’s very demanding with himself, he wants to be the best, he wants to help the team and works hard for it.
“It’s always been the case and it hasn’t changed at all.”
Fabinho doesn’t sound particularly concerned, then. He still sees the same player, rather than the unhappy one that some report.
And that’s enough for us. We were never particularly worried about Salah wanting to leave – Liverpool hold all the cards – but there really doesn’t seem to be a real cause for concern.
Chalk this one up as media drama, then.
