Liverpool are in dire need of reinforcements at the back, there’s no debating that. The Reds are currently without a fit senior centre back in the first team squad. Kopites want a January move made but the club appear reluctant, instead wanting to bide their time and move in the summer. Liverpool should loan Eder Militao ahead of Spurs.
There’s no centre backs
We will be lucky if we have a natural centre back fit to face Man United on Sunday.
Virgil van Dijk is unlikely to play again this term due to an ACL rupture whilst Joe Gomez has been sidelined with a knee problem of his own.
Meanwhile Joel Matip has dipped in and out of the side.
Fabinho and Jordan Henderson started at the back together last time out.

Inevitably, fans are begging for reinforcements in January.
Spurs linked with Militao
We aren’t the only ones hunting for a centre back.
According to Corriere Dello Sport in Italy, Spurs want to loan Eder Militao.
The North London side are allegedly looking into bringing the 22-year-old Real Madrid star in on a temporary move with an option to buy.
Liverpool should loan Eder Militao
If the defender is indeed available for a temporary deal then Liverpool should loan Eder Militao ahead of Spurs.
This would be dependent on the Reds not being obliged to buy at the end of the deal.
Although, signing him permanently wouldn’t necessarily be an awful idea.
A year ago UOL linked Liverpool with Militao before his move to the Spanish capital.
He’s dominant in the air and young enough to keep getting better. We need to make a move; if he’s available for a loan it’d be a no brainer.
