Real Madrid won’t look for a Mohamed Salah transfer, according to reports. They’re heading in a different direction to the Liverpool star.
This comes from Bernabeu Digital, which is part of the TuttoMercatoWeb network.
They believe that Real Madrid did once want a transfer for Mohamed Salah but that’s no longer the case. Instead, they’re looking at a different player.
That star? Eden Hazard. Now, we know what you’re thinking – he already plays for them. But this is apparently their way of doubling down on the Belgian.
Hazard has been anything but a success at Real, of course. He’s struggled for fitness and form but the report claims they want to put their eggs in that basket.

What RTK has to say
Why can’t they play together? They play on opposite wings.
Regardless, if this report is accurate, we don’t think Hazard is the reason why. Instead, Real likely have their eyes on a younger talent.
Kylian Mbappe, Erling Haaland and, possibly, Jadon Sancho fit the bill there. They’re also likely the players Liverpool want.
And that’s why we’re suddenly entertaining the idea that Salah could leave somewhere. Liverpool have an ageing strikeforce and need a refresh.
Doing so requires both money and space in the first XI – two things Liverpool can get if they sell someone like Salah.
And by ‘someone like Salah’, we mean the Egyptian, Sadio Mane or Roberto Firmino. There’s a very good chance that one moves on at the end of the season.
But let’s face it, if Liverpool want to sell Salah, there will be willing buyers. He’s been one of the world’s best since his £34m move to Anfield, after all.
The cards are firmly in Liverpool’s hands on that, too. If they want to sell him, they can. If they want to keep him, they will.
Real Madrid’s interest doesn’t really affect things much.
