There aren’t many academy stars about who are full internationals.
Liam Millar has eight caps for Canada at senior level.
The 21-year-old joined the Reds academy set up in 2016 and has since been on two loan spells at Kilmarnock.
He made his first team debut in the FA Cup last season and has captained the U23s this term.

As a result, Millar has headed to Charlton on loan.
The Canadian joined an Addicks side sitting in sixth in a tight League One table.

This is a good move for the youngster.
Millar will gain valuable first team experience at Charlton.
He will also put himself in the shop window. A permanent move is probably best for him at this stage so that he can nail down a regular first team spot somewhere to kickstart his career.
The youngster also penned a new deal with the Reds ahead of his move, meaning we can cash in when he does leave.
