Liverpool fitness ahead of Southampton
Kopites are anxious to see some returning stars given more minutes on the pitch.
Thiago Alcantara in particular is thought to be the answer to a lot of our problems.
The club’s official site published quotes from Jürgen Klopp delivering a Liverpool fitness update ahead of the Southampton trip:
“I think of the 20 minutes, 12 round about were brilliant and then [Thiago] felt the intensity, but that’s normal
“He trained exactly twice with the team. There is still some physical work to do, still some rhythm to get.
“Shaq is back and that’s, by the way, the best news – the boys are back and, as far as I know in the moment, nobody got injured, which is a very important thing.
“That means we can probably go with the same squad to Southampton.”

Going with the same squad is as good a piece of news as we could’ve hoped for.
The Reds have been terribly unlucky with injuries this term, no fresh fitness concerns is a win.
Hopefully we’ll see Thiago from the start at St. Mary’s. The Spaniard changed the game against Newcastle, having him from the off could help us blow away the opposition early on.
