Liverpool have been getting some work done ahead of the January transfer window. The Reds recently tied up a deal for highly rated youngster Calum Scanlon and they haven’t stopped there. According to The Athletic, Liverpool have completed the signing of Stefan Bajcetic from Celta Vigo.
Liverpool sign Stefan Bajcetic
The past couple of weeks have been full of news linking Liverpool with this defender and that.
We even completed a move for a Birmingham City teenager amidst all of the chaos.
There’s been rumours of bids for Sven Botman, interest in Perr Schuurs and Dayot Upamecano.
However, the latest news is that Liverpool have signed Stefan Bajcetic from Celta Vigo.

The Athletic have reported that the £224k deal has been sealed ahead of new regulations coming in in January.
The 16-year-old centre back is highly rated, as indicated by the fact that the Reds have worked so hard to get him at his young age.
According to the report, the Reds just about pipped Manchester United to the player’s signature.
This is said to be in part down to the involvement of key academy figures in the discussions, managing to persuade the teenager that Merseyside is the place for him.
What RTK has to say
Liverpool signing Stefan Bajcetic is great news, if only because we got to beat Man United to his signature.
We know pretty much nothing about him apart from the fact that he should be boss.
Why else would we make sure we got this deal over the line?
We’ll be keeping a close eye on his development in the academy. Hopefully we’ll be raving about him soon.
