"Building a dynasty": Twitter reacts as Liverpool sign Stefan Bajcetic

Liverpool are always planning for the future and we see that in their youth recruitment. Whilst the Reds many not sign as many youngsters at academy level as some of their rivals, they do still always have room for a bright few. Twitter has reacted to Liverpool signing Stefan Bajcetic from Celta Vigo.

The likes of Manchester United and Chelsea are seemingly constantly signing youngsters for their academy.

Chelsea in particular seem to almost have a scattergun approach, reflected in the mountains of players they have out on loan.

The Reds appear more precise given how few players they bring in in comparison.

Those we have brought in do look promising. Billy Koumetio has impressed in pre-season whilst Harvey Elliott is tearing up the Championship with Blackburn.

Liverpool sign Stefan Bajcetic

The Reds have been busy ahead of the January transfer window.

According to The Athletic, Liverpool have completed the signing of Stefan Bajcetic from Celta Vigo.

The 16-year-old centre back arrives ahead of new Brexit regulations for a fee of £244k.

Liverpool had to pip Man United to the teenager’s signature with the Red Devils believed to having been close to a deal.

It’s claimed that the Reds managed to persuade the youngster due to the involvement of a number of key academy figures such as Alex Inglethorpe and Barry Lewtas.
