Wolves interest in Gini Wijnaldum
Plenty of clubs have been credited with interest in the midfielder.
Barcelona have been heavily linked, Ronald Koeman allegedly made the player’s signing a ‘non-negotiable priority’ when he took over in the summer.
Whilst Inter Milan have also been named as potential suitors.
In a surprise twist, Gazzetta Dello Sport have claimed Wolves want Gini Wijnaldum.
The report suggests that Nuno Espirito Santo wants reinforcements and the Dutchman could well replace the ageing Joao Moutinho.
What RTK has to say
Not a chance.
There is not a chance in this world that Wolves land Gini Wijnaldum.
The midfielder has the choice of staying with the world champions or joining one of a number of elite European sides.
He isn’t going to climb down and sign for a club hoping to make the Europa League each year, it’s just not feasible.
The only thing which makes this deal happen is money. If they’re prepared to throw silly amounts at his wages then maybe there’s a tiny chance.
