Liverpool have been ripping up the rulebook since Jürgen Klopp took over. The Reds have been an irresistible brand of football in the past few years. The full backs have been crucial to this style of play. Garth Crooks has named Andy Robertson in his Team of the Year, heaping praise on the Scotsman.

Andy Robertson the Duracell bunny
Honestly, how does he do it?
Andy Robertson appears utterly tireless.
The Scotland captain has barely missed a minute of Premier League football in the past few years.
Despite the amount of footy he’s played he doesn’t appear to be tiring, if anything he keeps getting better.
The left back has been integral to everything good about this Liverpool side; his linkup with Sadio Mane is one for the ages.
Garth Crooks on Andy Robertson
Unsurprisingly, Garth Crooks has named Andy Robertson in his Team of the Year.
The Scottish wingback has come in for some high praise from the pundit.
Crooks is astounded that the defender has continued to improve, writing:
“This kid is playing out of his skin again. I didn’t think he could maintain the form he showed in Liverpool’s title-winning season but I think he’s even better now.
“His quality of pass – especially his delivery into the opposition penalty area – has been magnificent.
“I can’t imagine what he will be like when there’s a full house at Anfield again.”
What RTK has to say
Garth Crooks picking Andy Robertson for his Team of the Year was predictable.
There is nobody in the division anywhere near him in his position.
The Scotland captain keeps going from strength to strength.
Whenever he is out of the side, given a rest in a dead rubber for instance, his absence is a glaring one.
Thankfully we can’t see him going anywhere any time soon, we’ve got quite a few more years of Robbo left to enjoy.
