Liverpool take on West Brom today with the Reds high off a 7-0 thrashing of Crystal Palace. Jürgen Klopp’s side will be hoping to start opening up a gap at the top of the table. James Milner and Xherdan Shaqiri return to the bench, here is the confirmed Liverpool lineup to face West Brom:
Goalkeeper: Alisson Becker
The Brazilian won’t have a tremendous amount to do but his distribution could prove vital for rare counter attacks.
Right back: Trent Alexander-Arnold
The Scouser will be looking to drop balls behind the West Brom defence. It could be one of his final games as our primary playmaker with Thiago nearing a return.

Centre back: Fabinho
The Brazilian is one of the best one on one defenders in the world. He shouldn’t have to prove it today.
Centre back: Joel Matip
The Cameroonian starts this afternoon, perhaps indicating he’ll sit out of the Newcastle United tie.
Left back: Andy Robertson
Andy Robbo, published author, is one of our players of the season so far. Another top performance is inevitable.
Centre midfield: Curtis Jones
The Scouser is utterly undroppable at the moment. We expect another commanding display in the middle.
Centre midfield: Gini Wijnaldum
The Dutchman is nearing a Liverpool exit with no progress reported on his contract. He’ll show us what we’re set to be missing today.
Centre midfield: Jordan Henderson
The skipper will be barking orders and encouragement and keeping the intensity as high as usual.
Right wing: Mo Salah
Mo scored will want to start making headway in the Golden Boot race, his brace last time out helped.
Left wing: Sadio Mane
Sadio was fuming at being substituted against Crystal Palace. He’ll take the bull by the horns today.
Striker: Roberto Firmino
The Brazilian is back to his very best and we can’t wait to see what he’s got in store for us today.
