Scouser through and through

Curtis Jones joined the Liverpool academy at U9 level.

He has risen through the ranks, impressing at every level and even playing under Steven Gerrard at a point.

The youngster was named Premier League 2 Player of the Season last term after his standout performances in the youth setup.

Breakthrough year

We began to see flashes of Curtis Jones’ ability in January.

The Scouser lived the dream in the FA Cup, curling one into the top corner to knock Everton out at Anfield.

Jones went on to make six appearances in the Premier League in the second half of the season, earning himself a winner’s medal.

This term he has been something of a regular. The Scouser has started seven games and made three substitute appearances at the time of writing.

His performances in the Champions League have been particularly impressive, earning him a WhoScored rating of 7.33.

2021 and beyond

The sky is the limit for Curtis Jones at Liverpool.

The Scouser has been in such fine form in recent weeks that it’s becoming hard to leave him out of the side.

As we enter 2021 he is certain to further stake a claim for a regular starting berth, we expect by the 2021-22 season he’ll be immovable from the side.
