Emile Heskey on Liverpool v Crystal Palace

The Reds were utterly irresistible when they journeyed to the capital.

The quality of performance hasn’t gone unnoticed.

Speaking to Rousing the Kop, Anfield icon Emile Heskey heaped praise on Liverpool for their performance at Palace:

“It perks everyone up. It puts the rest on the back foot.

“Seven different providers but the goals that were scored were of the highest quality.

“They’re really making a statement when they go out on that pitch. Let’s be honest, that could’ve been a banana skin.”

What RTK has to say

Liverpool battering Crystal Palace is one of our highlights of the year.

Sure, we’ve had better all round performances but this was one of the most lethal finishing displays we’ve seen under Jürgen Klopp.

The lads took pretty much every chance which fell to them.

They were a joy to behold, we can’t wait to see them in action again.
