"Deserves all the credit": Sam Allardyce hails Jürgen Klopp

Liverpool have enjoyed great success in the past couple of years and we have Jürgen Klopp to thank for that. The charismatic German coach has been the driving force behind the club’s success but he hasn’t done it alone and he will always remind you of that. Sam Allardyce has heaped praise on Jürgen Klopp ahead of the coaches meeting this weekend.

Jürgen Klopp individual awards

Excellence deserves to be recognised.

Jürgen Klopp has scooped a number of individual awards during his time as Liverpool manager.

The last fortnight has seen the boss named Coach of the Year by FIFA and by the Sports Personality of the Year Awards.

The boss said Hansi Flick deserved the FIFA award ahead of him and directed attention towards his coaching team after collecting the SPOTY gong.

Sam Allardyce on Jürgen Klopp

This weekend sees Liverpool take on West Brom.

The Baggies have recently sacked their manager and have installed an ex-Everton boss at the helm.

Speaking ahead of the Anfield clash, Sam Allardyce hailed Jürgen Klopp, the Liverpool ECHO quote him as saying:

“I heard him say the other day, which was a real positive for his back-room team – he said ‘am I the best coach in the world? No. Have I got the best coaches? Yes.’

“That’s a massive, massive boost for the people who work behind Jurgen Klopp.

“It shows just how much respect he has for them and how they’ve helped him to achieve as much as he has done with the players.

“That’s exactly the route I try and employ, somebody who is much better at that particular job than I am, and hope it works.

“Jurgen’s charisma, and his love for Liverpool and the club, has paid off 1000% and he deserves all the credit he gets at this moment in time.

What RTK has to say

Sam Allardyce heaping praise on Jürgen Klopp comes as no surprise.

The West Brom manager has been around long enough to know greatness when he sees it.

The Reds will be looking to demolish the Baggies this weekend with pulling clear at the top of the table a priority.

Hopefully Klopp will show Allardyce just how good of a coach he is.
